More Little Words

When I love a concept, I get a little crazy and use it over and over and over. And that's what I've been doing with the "Little Words" idea. Here's another Little Words album - this one "Little Words (from your most adorable life)."

You can really use this concept for so many things:

Little Words From Your Kindergarten Year
Little Words From Your Everyday Life
Little Words From Your Wedding
Little Words From the Big Baseball Diamond
Little Words that Say I Love You

You get the idea . . . . It's just soooo dang easy!

Here are some of the pages. My niece will be starting kindergarten in the fall, so I thought it might be fun to give her a 'word' book.

I do realize that lollipop is not a "little" word, but that picture is just soooo cute! Had to include that one!

This was so easy to put together - the thing that was hanging me up for a bit, was what to use as patterned paper on the 'word' side of the book. Then I realized I had the perfect digital brush set already on my hard drive: Schmoozy Journal by Nancie Rowe Janitz from Scrapartist.com. The chipboard album is the card/box set from Creative Imaginations - I just punched the holes. I used a font (Burst My Bubble by Kimberly Geswein) that looks like handwriting, using an "a" that looks like an "a" . . . well you know, the kind of "a" you are taught to write in school . . . like this:

Each page is swiped with some of that great chalk ink by Color Box - got a whole load of them at Express Yourself in Bethel, CT. LOVE THEM!

Thanks for checking out my "Little Word" book. Have a very wonderful National Scrapbook Day! I hope you can squeeze some creativity into your weekend! - betsy
