I created a fun project using the June Mercantile Antiquarian kit and wanted to post it asap ... but alas ... as I'm ready now to post, I see that it's sold out already.
The Antiquarian kits are always amazing, unique kit adventures. You'll always find one-of-a kind items inside! No wonder they sell so quickly. sigh.
I used the June Papercrafting Kit with the Antiquarian to create a sweet little "junk journal". I'd LOVE to see what everyone else is doing with theirs! Post to our gallery!
I used the red bingo cards as front and back covers and covered one of the bottle caps with a peanut butter label as a charm.
I then made collected all the great bits and pieces from both kits and made pages up that I could later add photos or journaling.
The whiskey label was sewn onto the old handwritten envelope to make a banner on a pocket.
The tobacco pouch was bound right into the book and acts as a pocket for a mini album made with the postal patterned paper.
I created some filler papers with the digital cutting file offered with the Papercrafting Kit.
A glassine envelope holds sequins, beads, and foil "U", "S", "A" letters.
So much fun to create and bind all together. I used my Zutter to bind it and found great general directions on YouTube from these two ladies:
Have a creative day!
