Well the snow came for one day and didn't stick and now it's warming up for a few before colder temps next week. So who knows how snowy November will get? It's New England - 'nuf said.
I'd love to share a favorite layout - I used older photos - I love these photos and loved the day they were taken. Seriously one of my "Best Days Ever"
This was made with the quickly disappearing Mercantile Papercrafting kit and some pieces from the Artisan! I adore the exclusives in the kit! The cutting file?! I'll be using those feathers over and over.
I wanted a circular element on my page and used the exclusive star stamp to get it.
I punched a 2-3/4 inch circle from cardstock and used that as a mask on my background. I simply placed the mask where I wanted my star elements and stamped over the mask. The stamp looks so pretty stamped in gold and embossed.
The bottom photo so reminded me of a favorite passage from Willa Cather's book My Antonia.
"The little boy forgot his shyness and grinned delightedly when familiar faces came into view. In the group about Antonia I was conscious of a kind of physical harmony. They leaned this way and that, and were not afraid to touch each other."
I just love that.
I just love that.
Thanks for visiting! Have a creative weekend!
