It's Official ... again

... the empty nest ...

and every year it's a little bit different when they fly off to their universities ... 

it gets a little harder i think ... perhaps because the "missing them" part outweighs the "excitement of it all" part now ... 

but there was so much to do to get them ready, which was one reason why my weekly installments of Creative Tuesday's hasn't happened in a while ...

looking out my window today, these fading yellow flowers are another reminder that summer has ended ...

but fall is a great time to hit restart ...

and so that's what I'll do in between missing them ...
