Studio Hillary - a sampling . . .

Studio Hillary on Scrapbookgraphics.com released a great deal on a set of templates.
Here are my hybrid takes using some of the templates from the set.

Studio Hillary Jumbo Grab Bag, Magistical Memories chipboard, Martha Stewart edge punch

Studio Hillary Jumbo Grab bag, Jenni Bowlin patterned paper, Berna Datema patterned paper from Scrapbookgraphics, Creative Imaginations chipboard letters, and the coolest little sequin flowers I found at a flea market.

Studio Hillary Jumbo Grab Bag, Jenni Bowlin patterned paper and Bingo card, American Crafts ribbon

Studio Hillary Jumbo Grab Bag, American Crafts chipboard letters, Around the Block Dymo

I have never scrapped so much in my LIFE than I did this weekend. Which is really amazing . . . considering . . . everything . . . And ya' - gotta hand it to the templates - they are the BONES of my hybrid layouts. It gives a whole other dimension to the scrapping process. :)

Thanks for lookin' - and have a creative week! - betsy

Blog Hop and Sketch Challenge

I was doing a little surfin' of the blogs this weekend and came across
Pamela's Blog and Scrapbook Challenges' blog hop and sketch challenge for this weekend.

Here was Pamela's sketch: (awesome sketch, right?)

and my take on it:

Jenni Bowlin Studios patterned paper, Scenic Route patterned paper, Prima alphas, and used my Cricut mini monograms cartridge.

I scrapped like crazy this weekend - haven't done that in a loooong time. This sketch really got me going.

Have a creative night! - betsy

Going Hybrid

I thought I'd try something this week and I'm just LOVIN' how much fun it is. I used a digital template
Studio Hillary White Space 1 - kept it pretty simple - printed it out on textured white Bazzill and embellished it using my stash of supplies. Sooooo easy and so much fun.

This layout describes how ds chose his number for his baseball jersey - so sweet.

Besides the awesome template on Scrapbookgraphics, I used the Martha Stewart stars edge punch, and Fancy Pants number chipboard.

Have a creative week! - betsy

Gotta Love Baseball

There's just nothing better than spring baseball pics.
Honestly, how many of these shots can I take?

gotta love the huddle

gotta love the swing

gotta love that when your boys are the 3 and 4 batter, you can get them both in the same shot . . .
