Little Sweet Layout and an Etsy for a Cause

I was a random winner over at Scrapbook.com for their June contest and won a package of cool stuff - great papers, adhesive, monogram sets, letter stickers, thickers, embellishments - tons of stuff - and I challenged myself to create a layout today with some of the winnings.

Does a girl get any sweeter than this?

Thanks Scrapbook.com!!! Check out their July contest!
These butterfly sequins are from Jenni Bowlin Mercantile. LOVE them!

An Etsy shop for a cause: I've been collecting flea market crafting stuff for years and I've decided to sell some of it - with
100% of all sales going to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. So, if you're looking for buttons, trim, or something a little different, give TRINQUETS a try. I know the money's not much, but it's something, right? And I can feel like I'm doing something while I'm selling the stuff I had a lot of fun finding in the first place! This disease needs a cure - big time.

have a creative week!

A Patriotic Layout

Trying my hand at another challenge at the Scrap and Stamp Saturday blog. This one was to create a patriotic page - there must be some stamping on the page.

I know there's no red/white/ and blue here --- the Army green just worked better ;) .

To Honor:

Stamps: Art Warehouse (love these!)
Patterned paper: Scenic Route
Chipboard: Deluxe Designs
Punches: EK Success (both of 'em)
Distress ink: Tim Holtz

I am just LOVING distress ink. I've had a couple pads in my drawer, but all I ever thought to do with them was swipe the edge of my pages. Taking the "Thinking Inking" class at 2Peas has forced me to use these and other stamping techniques. I'm learning a lot!

This chipboard piece was painted with crackle medium and red paint. After cracked and dry, I went over it with Tim Holtz distress ink Peeling Paint. How cool is that look?!

A couple of other challenges going on . . . with PRIZES everyone!:
